Does anyone have a good basic egg salad recipe?

I can't seem to find a basic run of the mill egg salad recipe. My husband wants egg salad minus the exotic ingredients but all of the recipes called for cilantro or Dijon mustard, things like that. He doesn't want anything but basic egg salad. I don't like so I've never made it before.Does anyone have a good basic egg salad recipe?
well since he did not want those items you could have easily eliminated them from the production of your egg salad.

so basically some chopped boiled eggs, mayo or salad dressing i.e. Miracle whip, salt, pepper, maybe dill or sweet relish.Does anyone have a good basic egg salad recipe?
INGREDIENTS

6 eggs

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard

1/2 lemon, juiced

1/4 cup chopped green onions (or onions)

salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Place egg in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Cover and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool and peel. For faster cooling, place the eggs in an ice bath before peeling.

In a medium bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, lemon juice and green onions. Chop the eggs into big chunks and mix gently with the dressing. Season with salt and pepper.
VERY basic egg salad is just hard boiled eggs shedded/chopped, salt and pepper, and mayo or miracle whip. Just adjust the amounts to taste based on how much mayo you want. You CAN add other things, but it's not neccessary.

I used to work at a restaurant and our egg salad was

26 eggs

10 ounces of mayo

5 ounces diced celery

2 ounces diced onion

Mustard powder

Paprika (i think.. some sort of red thing like that.. don't remember)

Salt

Pepper

A LITTLE fancier but still not ';exotic';

You could add whatever you wanted to that, or avoid what you want.. celery and onion are classic, but you could add hot peppers or different spices or dill or a pickle or cheese (or even cheese whiz) or really just about anything.

But yeah, just whip up some egg and mayo together and your good to go.
chop up hard boiled eggs - I like to use an egg slicer, slice one way, then turn the egg, %26amp; slice the other way to get chopped egg

chop up some celery %26amp; add to bowl with chopped egg

add a dollop of mayo - not too much, just enough to coat the egg

sprinke in a little dry mustard (such as Coleman's), salt %26amp; pepper.

That's it!
8 hard cooked eggs, peeled and mashed with slicer or a fork

Start with 1/2 cup mayo and add more as desired

Salt %26amp; pepper to taste

1/2 tablespoon dry yellow mustard

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Mix well...serve

Hard boiled eggs-chopped celery-realmayonaise (not that 'salad dressing' junk that's gross.) salt and pepper. For a little extra kick chopped green olives. (depending on if he has a taste for them.)
