I'm looking for an easy apple salad recipe?

Throwing a party tomorrow for a group of 20 or so and would like to do something with apples that's not too sweet. ThanksI'm looking for an easy apple salad recipe?
Nutty Apple Salad





8 to 10 servings


Start to Finish: 20 minutes





Ingredients





Romaine leaves


9 cups torn mixed greens


1 small tart green apple, cored and cut into wedges


1 small red apple, cored and cut into bite-size pieces


3 tablespoons cider vinegar


3 tablespoons olive oil


1/4 teaspoon pepper


1/8 teaspoon salt


1/3 cup mixed nuts, toasted





Directions


1. Lay several romaine leaves on a large platter. Top with the torn greens and apples.





2. Combine cider vinegar, olive oil, pepper, and salt in a small screw-top jar. Place lid on jar and shake dressing well. Drizzle dressing over salad. Sprinkle with nuts. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

Apple Pecan Salad


Start to Finish: 25 minutes





Ingredients





Nonstick cooking spray


3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar


3 Tbsp. finely chopped pecans


3 small small sweet apples, halved and cored


1 Tbsp. butter, melted


1/3 cup canola oil


1/4 cup apple cider


1/4 cup cider vinegar


1 Tbsp. honey


1/4 tsp. salt


1/4 tsp. ground black pepper


6 cups mesclun mix or torn mixed greens


1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans, toasted (optional)





Directions


1. Preheat oven to 425F. Line baking sheet with foil; lightly coat with cooking spray. In bowl combine brown sugar and finely chopped pecans. Place apple halves, cut sides up, on baking sheet. Brush tops of apples with butter; sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Bake 15 minutes or until just tender when pierced with a fork.





2. Meanwhile, in a screw-top jar combine oil, cider, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Cover; shake well.





3. Arrange greens on serving platter; top with apple halves. Spoon melted sugar and pecans from baking sheet atop salad. Shake dressing; drizzle desired amount on salad. Sprinkle with coarsely chopped pecans. Pass remaining dressing. Makes 6 servings

Waldorf Salad





Prep Time:10 min


Start to Finish:10 min


Makes:6 servings (3/4 cup each)





Ingredients





3/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing


1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons lemon juice


1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons milk


3 medium unpeeled red eating apples, coarsely chopped (3 cups)


3 medium celery stalks, chopped (1 1/2 cups)


1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts


Salad greens, if desired








1. Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice and milk in medium bowl.


2. Stir in apples, celery and nuts. Serve on salad greens. Cover and refrigerate any remaining salad.I'm looking for an easy apple salad recipe?
Waldorf Salad


1 1/2 cps. chopped apples


1 cp. chopped celery


2 Tbs. mayo


1 dash pepper


1/8 tsp. salt


1/2 cp. raisins (I like to use golden raisins)


1/2 Tbs. granulated Splenda (or) 1 Tsp. sugar





combine: apples, celery %26amp; raisins


In small bowl combine: mayo, sugar, salt, pepper %26amp; stir well


pour over apple mixture %26amp; toss gently





Top with chopped walnuts





This recipe serves 4-6


Recipe can be doubled or more....
Apple Salad


Ingredients


2 apples, diced and unpared


1/2 cup diced celery


1/4 cup raisins


1 tablespoon lemon juice


1 tablespoon reduced-calorie mayonnaise


lettuce leaves (optional)








Instructions


Combine all ingredients except lettuce; mix well. Refrigerate until served. Serve on





You may need to double or triple the recipe
