I have been eating the same salad for a few months now, and it is getting old. I use green leaf lettuce, red onion, tomato, sunflower seeds, avocado, feta cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper. It's so good, but I need some fresh new summer/spring flavors.Any fresh salad recipes?
Try this Island Pork Tenderloin Salad:
4 ounces Island Pork Tenderloin (beef tenderloin with a cinnamon/brown sugar/cumin/tobasco sauce rub broiled and cut into thin strips)
2 cups salad greens (I like romaine for this)
2 Tbsp Golden Raisins
1/2 Orange, diced
1/3 Red Bell Pepper, cut into thin strips
and top it with a Cumin viniagrette (Cumin, olive oil, orange juice, %26amp; lime juice)
This is a VERY filling salad that will hold you over for a while.Any fresh salad recipes?
at my work, we have feature salads every week. Some we have had are:
fiesta salad: basic salad, but add either beef or chicken cooked with grilled onions %26amp; ranch style beans. Catalina dressing goes well with it!
asian salad: basic salad, add almonds, rice noodles, grilled chicken,sugar snap peas, mandarine oranges, and use that new basalmic spritz dressing.
I can't recall the name:basic salad, but grill chicken, along with corn %26amp; black beans. Top with many dressings!
