Help with this Carrot Salad recipe?

I had this great carrot salad and I've been looking for the recipe online. It had sugar in it, and when I ate it there was this little spicy kick to it. (I assume cumin). I can't find a recipe that combines carrots, sugar, and cumin (of course with other stuff). Anyone have a recipe that does?Help with this Carrot Salad recipe?
Your spicy kick could have also been white pepper. I use it in my carrot salad.Help with this Carrot Salad recipe?
Marrakesh Carrot Salad:

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 pound carrots, peeled and grated

For the Marrakesh Carrot Salad: combine the lemon juice, garlic, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, red pepper flakes, and salt in a bowl. Mix well to combine. Add the honey, parsley, olive oil, and carrots. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Carrot Salad with Cumin

Here's a simple salad in a typically North African style that features the sweetness of fresh oranges offset nicely by the tang of ground cumin.

1 1/2 pounds carrots, grated

Juice of 2 oranges

Juice of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon ground cumin, or more to taste

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Use the julienne disk of a food processor to cut the carrots into fine shreds or cut into 1/8 -inch-thick slices.

Whisk together the juices, olive oil, and cumin; sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour the dressing over the carrots. Toss, taste and adjust the seasoning, and serve.
